Dent Blanche excursion (Aosta Valley, Italy)

Annual excursion of the Swiss Tectonic Studies Group of the Swiss Geological Society

The annual excursion of the Swiss Tectonic Studies Group will take place from 26th to 28th of August, 2016. We will visit the Dent Blanche nappe in the Aosta valley. The excursion will be led by Paola Manzotti and Michel Ballèvre

For further information and if you would like to participate please contact Paola Manzotti (paola.manzotti@gmail.com) or Michel Ballèvre (michel.ballevre@univ-rennes1.fr). The maximum number of participants is 30 (first come, first served). Expenses for the excursion will be paid by the participants during the trip.

We particularly encourage MSc and PhD students to participate in this excursion. If you are a student member of the Swiss Geological Society (membership costs are only CHF 50 per year), the Society will contribute CHF 100 per student member to the costs of the excursion. Please contact office@geolsoc.ch if you would like to become a member of the society.
